Where did we develop our expertise?

We developed our expertise by creating new products geared to driving lean manufacturing and successfully guiding dozens of customers in using these products to kick start or accelerate their digital transformation roadmap. We are hands-on builders who like to dive deep and obsessive over our customer’s goals. Our team represents top technical and design talent from Amazon Web Services, Hitachi, and Microsoft. What is the current focus of our services?

Our current focus is to help customers establish the foundation and mechanisms needed to execute on their digital manufacturing needs. Specifically, we assist our customers in the following areas:

• Translate business needs into a crisp digital transformation roadmap and rally support from key stakeholders.
• Scope and spec MVP products for core scenarios. This includes developing the right technical architecture for data management, analytics, network security, and end user applications.
• Appropriately use emerging technologies such as AR/VR, IoT, and Machine Learning to get tangible business outcomes.
• Effectively validate MVP products to inform strategy.

What does a typical engagement look like?

Each engagement starts with a free 30-minute consultation to learn about you, tell you more about us, and explore how we can help. Follow-ups are priced based on the scope of the project and level of expertise required. Typical engagement lasts three months for a prototype or strategy development effort, six months for a pilot development and execution effort at a single facility, and up to a year to roll out a solution in production across multiple sites.

Do we provide solution development services?

We currently do not provide development services but can help you find a competent and reliable development partner. We have found most customers can develop their solutions quickly and confidently once the foundation and mechanisms are in place. In fact, we encourage customers to build development skills in within their own organizations so they are able to rapidly (and cost effectively) incorporate new technologies into their solutions.

What technical expertise do we have?

While we do not provide development services, we have hands-on experience building web, mobile, and IoT applications, inventing new cloud services, informing design of new databases (time-series and graph), and designing solutions that work well with existing operations technology (OT) infrastructure.

What kinds of businesses do we support?

We have experience supporting large fortune 500 industrial companies, as well as early stage start-ups who want to provide industry 4.0 products and services. In our early days, we are focusing on:

• Industrial companies with geographically distributed operations with funded digital factory / manufacturing initiatives.
• System integrators interested in diversifying into the solutions business by leveraging cloud technologies.
